In most cases, you may leave once the scan is completed.
After the scan, you will be escorted back to the changing
area and asked to stop at the front desk prior to leaving.
At that point, we will be happy to answer any questions
you have regarding follow-up care with your physician,
getting the results of your scan, and the filing of
insurance claims. You may be asked to wait for copies of your images to bring to the follow up appointment with your physician. You can then resume your usual activities.
If you were given a sedative, you should have a driver
take you home and you may want to rest for several hours
until the effects of the sedative wear off.
If, at a later date, you are asked to bring images to a physician's office, please call our medical records office in advance at 431-7124 press 4. We will make every effort to help get your images where they need to be. You can pick them up, we will deliver them locally, or we can mail them. |
